Rope & Shoot rules are the same as the breakaway and Shooting rules, only the rider will carry one loop in this event.  After you rope you must turn your horse to the right, turn the near barrel shoot 5 balloons.  Time stops when rider crosses finish line.  If you DO NOT turn your horse to the right it is a 10 second penalty.  A missed steer is a 15 second penalty added to the rider’s time.  Breaking the string by hand = No Time.  Each missed balloon is a 5 second penalty.  There is a 5 second penalty for a broken barrier.
